Vision, Mission & Core Values

Our Vision
A society where elderly persons live with dignity, security, and full inclusion in their communities. ESUGA envisions communities that recognize, respect, and actively support elderly persons as valued members of society. We aspire to see systems that protect their rights, respond to their needs, and ensure that ageing is experienced with care, stability, and belonging.

Our Mission
To promote the wellbeing of elderly persons through community-based support, advocacy, and sustainable initiatives that improve health, food security, economic resilience, and social protection. Our mission guides every programme we implement. ESUGA works closely with communities, volunteers, and partners to deliver practical interventions that respond to real challenges faced by elderly individuals, particularly those living in vulnerable circumstances.

Our Core Values

  • Dignity: We uphold the inherent worth and respect of every elderly person, ensuring that all our actions protect and promote their rights.
  • Compassion: We respond to vulnerability with empathy, care, and meaningful support that addresses both immediate and long-term needs.
  • Accountability: We operate with transparency and responsibility, ensuring that resources entrusted to us are used effectively and ethically.
  • Inclusion: We promote participation and equal opportunities for elderly persons, encouraging their active involvement in community life.
  • Community Partnership: We believe sustainable impact is achieved through collaboration, shared responsibility, and strong community engagement.
