Mr. Faruku Mayanja serves as the IT and Logistics Officer at ESUGA – Elderly Support Uganda, where he plays a vital role in strengthening ESUGA’s technological systems and logistical operations. At ESUGA, Mr. Mayanja is responsible for managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring efficient operation of computer systems, internet connectivity, and digital data storage. He also supports staff in the use of technology to improve service delivery and organizational communication. In addition, he oversees logistics coordination including procurement support, equipment management, inventory control, and transportation arrangements for field activities.
Mr. Mayanja holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (BIT) from Kampala University, which has equipped him with strong skills in information systems management, computer networking, data management, and digital communication. With a strong commitment to professionalism, innovation, and teamwork, Mr. Mayanja continues to contribute to the smooth operational functioning of ESUGA while helping the organization adapt to modern digital systems that strengthen program implementation and accountability.
Mr. Mayanja is passionate about using technology to enhance organizational efficiency and improve service delivery to vulnerable communities, particularly the elderly. His role is instrumental in supporting ESUGA’s mission of promoting the welfare, dignity, and social inclusion of older persons in Uganda.
