Joel Isabirye serves as the Finance and Grants Officer at Esuga Elderly Support Uganda, where he oversees financial management and coordinates the administration of grants and programme funding. He plays a vital role in ensuring transparent budgeting, accurate financial reporting, and prudent utilization of resources in compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.

Joel holds both a Diploma and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Makerere University Business School (MUBS). Prior to joining ESUGA, he gained extensive experience working in finance departments across various institutions, including banks, local government entities, and non-governmental organizations.

In his current role, Joel contributes significantly to strengthening ESUGA’s financial accountability systems and supporting the effective implementation of programmes aimed at improving the wellbeing of elderly persons. His dedication to sound financial management helps ensure that organizational resources are utilized efficiently to maximize impact, sustainability, and service delivery within the communities ESUGA serves.
