As the holy month of Ramadan ends, ESUGA Elderly Support Uganda extends its warmest wishes to all Muslims globally on the joyous occasion of Eid ul-Fitr. The Executive Director of ESUGA Dr. Rajab Idd Muyingo stressed that Eid is a time of gratitude, compassion, and togetherness, a moment to celebrate the strength of faith, the beauty of giving, and the blessings of community. After a month of fasting, reflection, and spiritual renewal, this day reminds us of the importance of kindness, generosity, and caring for one another.
“At ESUGA, we take this opportunity to recognize the elderly members of our communities, many of whom rely on our collective love and support. Let us remember them in our celebrations by sharing meals, offering companionship, and extending acts of charity that embody the true spirit of Eid” Dr. Rajab added.
He encouraged the Muslim fraternity that as they celebrate, they should be focused on building a society rooted in empathy, dignity, and respect for all especially our elders who have paved the way for the human existence. “It is our prayer that this special day bring peace to your hearts, joy to your homes, and renewed hope for a brighter future. May your prayers be accepted, your sacrifices rewarded, and your lives filled with blessings and prosperity”. Rajab applauded
