Esuga Elderly Support Uganda (ESUGA) recently welcomed a delegation of guests from Türkiye in a visit aimed at strengthening collaboration and exploring opportunities to expand support for elderly persons in Uganda.
The engagement provided a platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and mutual understanding of community-based initiatives focused on elderly wellbeing. During the visit, the ESUGA team shared insights into ongoing programmes, including food security initiatives, health outreach, and advocacy efforts aimed at protecting the dignity and rights of senior citizens.
The Turkish guests expressed appreciation for ESUGA’s commitment to serving vulnerable elderly populations and explored areas for continued partnership and humanitarian cooperation. The visit reflects ESUGA’s growing network of international friends and partners dedicated to promoting compassion, inclusion, and sustainable community support.
Through such engagements, ESUGA continues to build meaningful relationships that enhance its capacity to deliver impactful programmes for elderly persons across Uganda.
